First, watch this video where I share with you what’s exactly a digital planner, what you need to start using one, and some of the most Frequently Asked Questions:
1 | First pick your device…
All Apple + Android + Windows devices work great for digital planning, even your phone!
2 | Then, choose the app…
Depending on your device, you can use either GoodNotes (my fave!), Notability, Noteshelf, Zoom Notes, Drawboard, or Xodo. In the following videos I talk about the most popular apps and my favorite ones.
3 | What planner(s) do you need?
It’s time to determine what do you want to plan for: your day-to-day, school, your business, your fitness routine, social media, your finances, or blog?
There’s a planner for everything you need, and for everyone!

Decorating is always SUPER fun, and doing it digitally is a lot less expensive than with physical stickers. But, it’s totally up to you, if you just want to clarify what you need to do + tackle day to day, that is totally OK π

Great, let’s get started!
1 | Printable or Digital
π Printable Planner
If you’ve always loved paper and have this gorgeous binder you can’t wait to start using, then your go-to option is the printables!
If you prefer a printable planner, your quiz ends here.
You only need to determine the main purpose of the planner you’re looking for and get it. All of them come in 4 different sizes, so you only need to pick the right size for your binder, print, and use π
π± Digital Planner
Or if you want to go paperless, have everything in one place (aka your fave digital device), and dive into digital planning, then continue with the next steps.
2 | Dated or Undated
βοΈ Undated Planner
When I don’t know when I’ll start using a planner, or when the year has passed a couple of months already, I always pick an undated planner. This way, I can start using the planner whenever I want/can, and I can reuse it year after year.
If you prefer an undated planner, your quiz ends here!
Now click here and decide the layout and colors you prefer, and you’re ready to plan!
π Dated Planner
Now, with digital planners, it’s a lot easier + fun to use a dated planner because you can go from the monthly calendar to the weekly spreads + daily planners. This makes my planning a lot faster too!
So, if you prefer to have your planner perfectly laid out, with all the dates and links you need for the year ahead, continue with the next point.
3 | Choose the Layout + Colors
What do you prefer, write on portrait (vertical) mode, or landscape (horizontal)? Or maybe you love to plan on an open-page planner?
It’s time for the most fun! Are you ready to pick the layout and colors for your new planner?
This is totally up to you and what calls you the most. Do you prefer vivid colors, or neutrals? What kind of layouts do you like the most in the weeklies and dailies?
Check your options here, pick your planner, and start making your goals happen!
Above all, remember to have fun, this digital planning world + working towards accomplishing your goals (and dreams!) should be a fun process, so enjoy!
